Here is a better view of the gun pictured previously. It is a fifty millimeter breechloader, and is one of a group of 50 built in Germany for the Royal Army of Siam in 1901 by the Krupp armaments factory. I believe this gun bears the serial number 02; it qualifies as a destructive device and must be licensed (see “Legal Issues” in the Ordering Information section for details) A projectile is standing on the carriage under the breech. It is aiming at a target that is out of the picture frame 600 yards downrange.
